Did Olivia Rodrigo hint her fans with a second album release? Here’s what we know so far

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo makes a hint about the impending release of her second album, which will be a major turning point in her burgeoning career.

The outstanding young singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo has made hints about the release of new songs. Her career has advanced significantly as a result of this. The rising artist, who became extremely well-known two years ago thanks to her first album Sour, turned to Instagram to thank her followers and hint at the arrival of brand-new music.

In a post featuring a series of pictures and video showcasing herself and her team working and having fun, Rodrigo captioned, “oh man oh man oh man. SOUR turns 2 years old today. No words could ever describe how much this album means to me and how insanely grateful I feel for every blessing it has brought into my life. the new stuff is so so so so so close to being done I pinky promise (heart emoji).”

Olivia celebrated the two-year anniversary of Sour with a handwritten statement in an email newsletter she delivered to her followers in addition to her Instagram post. A secret message in the memo, nevertheless, drew the notice of astute followers. Many people assume that Rodrigo intentionally capitalised OR and bolded the number 2, hinting at her eagerly awaited second album.

Olivia has already made hints about her next songs. She offered her followers a peek inside the development of her music in January by posting a little video of her working with music producer Dan Nigro in the studio along with the caption,   “Working on so many new songs I’m excited to show you. Thank you for everything.”

Rodrigo’s debut album, Sour, received favourable reviews and catapulted her to fame. Olivia Rodrigo won her first Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album as a result of the album’s several successful songs, which also included Driver Licence, Good 4 u, and Deja Vu.
