BTS’s Butter crosses the three-week reign of their song ‘Dynamite.’ The group breaks their record as “Butter” adds a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, becoming the South Korean superstar group’s longest leading topper on the tally. The boy band, BTS becomes the first Asian Act to spend four weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

On June 26, 2021, the latest chart released by Billboard showed Butter by BTS has maintained its position on Number 1 for the fourth time. This makes Butter the fourth song to have spent four weeks at Number 1 since its debut.

The Billboard Hot 100 determined by all-genre U.S. streaming which includes official audio and official video streaming, radio airplay and sales data. The album ‘Butter’ was released on May 21 to boost and energize the summer for people in the midst of the pandemic. It drew 12.5 million U.S. streams and sold downloads of about 111,400. ‘Butter’ has also managed to attract 25.8 million radio airplay audience impression in the last week. HYBE later also introduced three version different versions of the song, ‘Hotter’, ‘Sweeter’ and ‘Cooler’.

The song has also topped the Billboard Global 200 (Excluding United States) chart for four consecutive weeks! The song is in second place on the Billboard Global 200. The group has proved the power of their songs from the very start and this makes it more special for the band and ARMY as June is the debut month for the group. The group has also announced the release of the CD of the song ‘Butter’ in two versions being ‘Peaches’ and ‘Cream’ featuring a new track that will be released on the day the fandom was named and formed as a gift by the boy band.
