Billboard Music Awards 2023 (BBMAs) was hosted on Sunday. The event garnered immense love from the fans globally and became sensational in no time. Two of the top artists Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen highlighted the Awards show this year. While Morgan took hold of 11 awards in total and even won at the BBMA. On the other hand, Taylor Swift won 10 awards categories and set a hefty benchmark for her fans.
Taylor Swift was nominated in 20 categories at the BBMA 2023. Out of which she won 10 of the nominations which made her tie with Drake for the most awarded recipient in BBMAs. Taylor came into the event with 29 wins while Drake came with 34 and won five more. The rapper even won top rap male artist and top rap touring artist.
Taylor Swift expressed gratitude post the award ceremony and thanked her fans overseas. The singer said that she is very honoured that her fans made her Eras Tour so magical. You (fans) went and watched my movie religiously and cared for my recordings. I love you and I feel like the luckiest person on Earth as you guys care about my music a lot.
Morgan Wallen was the charm of 2023 BBMAs as he won in 11 categories, the highest of all. He even took home the top male artist, top Hot 100 artist, top country artist and so on and so forth. The singer shared his heartfelt feelings saying, “Last awards show I went to, we came home empty handed. And this one, I don’t have enough hands for them all.”
Artists such as Tate MaRae, Bebe Rexha, Mariah Carey, Stray Kids, Peso Pluma and Morgan Wallen headlined the event with their incredible performances.
