With this week’s release of Yours Truly (Deluxe), a re-release of her 2013 first album, Ariana Grande will celebrate ten years in the music industry. Ariana contributed vocals to The Weeknd’s 2016 song Die for You earlier this year, but she hasn’t released much music as a solo artist since Positions peaked at number one on the Official Albums Chart back in 2021. She collaborated with Demi Lovato on the song “Met Him Last Night” and Kelly Clarkson on “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me” in the same year. Now that Yours Truly (Deluxe) is about to drop on Friday, September 25, Ari is preparing by revealing the cover art through Instagram Stories.
When it was first released in 2013, Ariana’s debut song peaked within the Top 10, reaching at number seven on the UK charts. The LP gave birth to two Top 75 songs, The Way with the late Mac Miller (41) and the Nathan Sykes collaboration Almost is Never Enough (49), although her music career was still in its infancy. Two more songs, including a collaboration between Big Sean and Baby I called Right There, were also taken from Yours Truly.
While the Yours Truly (Deluxe) tracklist has not yet been made public, Ariana has hinted on Instagram that there would be a week of events leading up to the album’s release, including live concerts, a merch drop, Q&A sessions, and behind-the-scenes video.
P.S. The ‘deluxe’ = the Live from London, updated versions of the songs we performed from Yours Truly…I can’t wait for you to hear them, Ariana said on Instagram Stories. This was such a special and therapeutic project to work on. I adore you guys and am eternally grateful to you.
