AC/DC celebrates first reunion in 6 years, debuting new number, “Shot in the Dark”

Heavy Metal Band AC/DC releases their first album after 6 years. The releases celebrate a reunion of all the band members as well the 40th anniversary of their biggest album “Back in Black”

Rock band AC/DC released their most awaited number, “Shot in the Dark ” on Youtube today at 9:30 AM. Along with number, the band will also be releasing ‘Power Up’ which will be the first album released since 2014.

The rock band announced last week that they were going to collaborate with the living legends Brian Johnson, Angus Young, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd to release new albums since their last one in 2014.

Yesterday, the band sent out a tweet giving a heads up to heavy metal fans about the release.  “A shot in the dark / Make it feel alright / A shot in the dark / Run through the whole night / A shot in the dark. the chorus goes… A shot in the dark beats a walk in the park.”

According to the American publication, Rolling Stone, the album will also have unreleased songs written by Angus about the unfortunate demise of his late brother.

“This record is pretty much a dedication to Malcolm, my brother. It’s a tribute for him like ‘Back in Black’ was a tribute to Bon Scott,” ” Angus Young said in an interview.

After 2014, the band separated and went their own ways, just like One Direction. This reunion marks a significant event for heavy metal fans.

2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the band’s biggest album “Back in Black,” which was released in the 1980s.
