Anand L Rai is all set to start on his next movie- Raksha Bandhan. It will star Akshay Kumar and will also mark their second venture together. Akshay Kumar had previously done a cameo in the yet to be released Atrangi Re starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.
Raksha Bandhan will be produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. The movie, just as the name suggests, will involve the story of a brother-sister bond and connection. It is currently in its pre-production phase and the film will go on floors soon.
“Raksha Bandhan is a special film for all of us, rarely are such pure and simple films made. I am happy Zee is partnering with us on this one as I have always shared a good association with the entire team at Zee Studios – hoping that this only takes the relationship a notch higher. Can’t wait to begin filming for this one!” Akshay Kumar said while talking about the upcoming project.
