XO: KITTY – Release date, trailer and everything we know about it

Netflix confirmed on March 22 that the series would premiere globally on May 18, 2023. Only Netflix will be available for streaming. The first season of the show will consist of ten episodes, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora are the show’s directors.

Anna Cathcart will return to her role as Kitty. Dae will be played by South Korean actor Minyeong Choi, well known for his performance in the K-drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Gia Kim plays Yuri, Sang Heon Lee plays Minho, Anthony Keyvan plays Q, Peter Thurnwald plays Alex, Jocelyn Shelfo plays Madison, Regan Aliyah plays Juliana, and Yunjin Kim plays Jina. Professor Lee is played by Michael K. Lee.

Jenny Han is the author of the books that inspired the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise. She will co-showrun and executive produce XO, Kitty with Sascha Rothchild. “We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. So it felt like the greatest gift to give to Kitty was to let her as a character kind of set off on her own two feet and not put her in the shadow of either of her sisters,” Rothchild said. She also added, “She’s stepping into the fore — picking up the baton from Lara Jean.”

According to the series’ official summary, “Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey believes she knows everything there is to know about love.” But when she moves halfway around the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll quickly realise that relationships are a lot more complicated when your heart is at stake.

Here’s the trailer which about to make the fans go weak on their knees.
