Dabangg 3 has been in the news since its announcement – the trailer and music album has been launched. And as per a report by Mid-Day, The ‘bhai’ of Bollywood might be talking to distributors about negotiating a two-film deal including Dabangg 3 and his Eid 2020 release Radhe at Rs 350 Crore.
It was quoted by a trade source in a national daily that makers of Salman’s film had initially offered Dabangg 3 at Rs 200 Crore to distributors which they felt was a steep price owing to the financial conditions. Reportedly, later, to entice them, the megastar decided to add Radhe to the deal to safeguard the interests of the distributors.
“Knowing the popularity that the franchise enjoys, the makers had planned to sell Dabangg 3 at Rs 200 Crore. But, the distributors feel that the price is on the higher side, given the current financial situation where the spending power of the masses is controlled. So, Salman has decided to follow the model that has been adopted by production houses on past occasions. He has offered a package deal for Dabangg 3 and Radhe apparently at an estimated price of Rs 350 Crore, thereby safeguarding the interests of the distributors and reducing the strain on making profits. If it works out, it will be a win-win situation for both parties,” the source said.
Currently, Khan is shooting for Radhe with Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Bharath Niwas, and Jackie Shroff. Directed by Prabhudheva, the film will showcase Salman in an action avatar. Besides, the actor is also preparing for the release of Dabangg 3 full-fledgedly.
