
Ajith last appeared in the January 11 movie “Thunivu,” which was only recently released. The film, which was directed by H Vinoth, is a bank robbery thriller starring Ajith and Manju Warrier. Ghibran composed the film’s music, and Boney Kapoor oversaw its production. In the two weeks since its debut, “Thunivu” has reportedly achieved a gross box office haul of Rs 210 crore.
The movie’s creators posted a making-of video to social media with the caption “First Blockbuster of 2023”; the clip showed how the bank heist scene, action sequence, and stunt choreography were created. Ajith, director H Vinoth, and cinematographer Nirav Shah all shared memories while filming portions in it.

As of right now, “Thunivu” is scheduled to debut digitally on OTT on February 10 and reportedly have its television debut on a satellite channel on April 14. After “Ner Konda Parvai” and “Valimai,” “Thunivu” represented the third time that director H Vinoth, actor Ajith, and producer Boney Kapoor worked together.
On the work front, Ajith is now prepared to begin production on his upcoming Vignesh Shivan film, tentatively titled “AK 62.” According to reports, actresses Aishwarya Rai and Trisha will be in the cast when filming begins on February 23 in Mumbai. There were rumours of Disha Patani to be a part of the film as well.The official announcement has not yet been made by the creators.
