Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’ film shooting sparks frenzy in Puducherry – Here’s why

Thalapathy Vijay is currently in Puducherry filming ‘GOAT’. The team was filming multiple scenes using explosives in the streets, which terrified the residents.

Actor-turned-politician Vijay is currently filming ‘GOAT’ in Puducherry. Venkat Prabhu is directing the film, which is being shot in the Union Territory and will include some dramatic action scenes. This has also alarmed the residents.

The production crew exploited public routes for scenarios that required explosive stunts. One stunning event involves a car getting blown up with gas canisters and crashing into an SUV. Other spectacular sequences were filmed in a variety of locations, including Beach Road and the Old Port, even at night.

Unaware of the film’s stunts, the individuals who had been halted during production panicked as a result of the blasts. However, the film crew informed the public that all necessary safety precautions had been taken, and that no serious threat existed.

Thalapathy Vijay will reportedly play both a hero and a villain in ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT), which was also filmed in Russia. Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj will portray the heroes and villains, respectively. The film will hit theatres on September 5, 2024.
