The film ‘Adipurush‘ starring Prabhas is already the talk of the town. Even though just a few announcements have been made about the film, it has already become a subject of speculation. Recent rumours suggest that actor Sunny Singh of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ fame has been added to the cast.
To be directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ is an adaptation of Ramayana. Prabhas will be playing Lord Ram whereas Saif Ali Khan will be playing the role of Ravan. Now it is being said that Sunny Singh will play the role of Lakshman in the film.
Earlier, there have been multiple rumours about the female lead of the film. It was being said that Deepika Padukone would play the role of Sita. However, since Deepika signed Nag Ashwin’s film opposite Prabhas, there are fewer chances of her being paired against Prabhas again. The search for the leading lady is still on.
The film will go on floors in January 2021 and will be released on 11th August 2021. It is going to be shot in Hindi and Telugu but will also be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other foreign languages.
