Siddharth Malhotra has announced that the shoot for his new movie ‘Thank God’ has commenced. The actor was thrilled about the project as he is joining hands with Ajay Devgn. The film will also reunite him with his Aiyaary co-star, Rakul Preet Singh. Siddharth has revealed that it will go on floors this month.

Earlier this month, Siddharth announced his upcoming project on social media. The Marjaavan actor shared pictures of him with a clapper from the muhurat shot. In the photo, Siddharth stands next to director Indra Kumar and producer Bhushan Kumar. The caption read, “Excited for this new journey. #ThankGod for it. Shoot begins today @ajaydevgn @rakulpreet @indrakumarofficial #BhushanKumar #KrishanKumar #AshokThakeria @sunirkheterpal @deepakmukut @anandpandit @balu_munnangi @markandadhikari #YashShah @tseriesfilms @tseries.official.”

The photos left Siddharth’s co-star Rakul Preet Singh in a whirl of emotions. She commented with multiple happy and smiling emojis.

The story of ‘Thank God’ is still under wraps. Siddharth earlier revealed that it is a slice of life comedy film. Sharing the announcement earlier this month, the actor had said, “Stoked to announce my next film, for the first time with @ajaydevgn & @Indra_kumar_9, also starring @rakulpreet #ThankGod – a slice of life comedy, starts shooting this month. Stay tuned!”

It looks like Rakul and Ajay Devgn will join Sidharth soon. They are currently shooting for ‘Mayday’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
