Shooting for Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ to begin next week

Due to the unlock phase in Mumbai, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ will begin its final schedule from the next week.

Several movies have resumed their shooting schedule in Mumbai. Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ will also resume its final schedule from the next week. The shooting will resume on Monday at Film city in Goregaon.

According to a source of Mid-day, “A major portion of the war drama, including the climax, was filmed in Hyderabad last year. Now, only a few action sequences are remaining. Director Abhishek Dudhaiya, with the help of a lean team, will shoot the scenes with Ajay, following which he can call a wrap on his ambitious project. If all goes as per plan, the work will be completed in two days.”

The movie, ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, is set in the background of the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971. It is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, (played by Ajay Devgn) the then in charge of the Bhuj airport. Vijay, with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from the local village Madhapar.

The movie is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. It is a multi-starer movie, with actors like Ajay Devgn, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Rana Daggubatti, and several others. The movie is written by Abhishek Dudhaiya and Ritesh Shah.
