Salman Khan receives written request from film distributors to release ‘Radhe’ only in theatres

Recently, there is buzz around that the superstar’s Salman Khan upcoming film Radhe: Most Wanted Bhai, releasing on an OTT platform before getting a turn in the theatres.

While the makers are yet to confirm or deny anything on the development, film exhibitors-who have been hit hard by pandemic-induced countrywide shutdown of theatres and subsequent opening with only 50 per cent occupancy, have written a letter to the actor requesting him to go with a theatrical release first. The businessmen are convinced that Salman Khan‘s presence on the big screen will set their cash registers jingling despite the threat of coronavirus looming large.
Buzz is that the exhibitors had been pleading with Salman for the same since November but it is only now that they are making a formal request, asking him to delay the release and open preferably on Eid, as it was planned for last year.

While on the topic of ‘Radhe’, Salman will reunite with his ‘Bharat’ co-star Disha Patani in the film, which also stars Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.

He is also a part of ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ with Pooja Hegde. Last year, he had announced that his film ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ will release during Eid 2021.
