‘Bhoot Police’ featuring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez ,which was scheduled to release on OTT on September 17, is now going to be released a week ago on September 10. The film has created a lot of buzz since it’s trailer launch. A day earlier, the makers of the Hollywood film ‘Free Guy’ starring Ryan Reynolds have announced the release date of the film in India on 17 September. After this, the ghost police increased their speed and now it is coming a week ago.
This multi-starrer horror comedy film is directed by Pawan Kriplani and is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. The film will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar on 10 September. The poster of the film has also been released along with the new release date. Jamie Lever, daughter of actor Javed Jaffrey and comedian Johnny Lever, are also going to be seen in crucial roles.
While the makers did not disclose any reason for the date change, it could be because of the multiple releases scheduled for the same day on different OTT Platforms. Telugu star Nithiin starring, remake of Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun, titled Maestro is arriving on same day on Hotstar only. However, this isn’t all, This isn’t all, Netflix upcoming Hindi anthology Ankahi Kahaniya is also coming on September 17. Moreover, Entrance of the third season for the Netflix hugely popular series “Sex Education” is also set for the day.
