Rajinikanth has returned from his spiritual journey across the country, and he was recently spotted celebrating the success of his blockbuster ‘Jailer,’ which has surpassed Rs 600 crore at the global box office. The film is a smash hit not just in India, but around the world, and its release was nothing short of a fan celebration.
Jailer also marked Rajinikanth’s comeback to the big screen after a two-year absence, as the renowned actor once again demonstrated who commands the box office.
Rajinikanth went off to the Himalayas just a day before the release of Jailer, and he was afterwards seen paying his respects in temples in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.
Rajinikanth was spotted enjoying the success of Jailer with his team after returning from his trip.
Rajinikanth was spotted cutting a cake while surrounded by team members and others involved with Jailer, and everyone appeared to be in a festive mood.
Jailer has become the third Tamil film to enter the Rs 500 crore club, joining 2.0 (2018) and Ponniyin Selvan 1 (2022), with a total income of Rs 588 crore.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has been sighted visiting temples and sacred sites across the country. After trekking for about two hours, he offered prayers at the Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand and even went a cave to reflect.
Later, he was seen arriving in UP through Jharkhand, where he screened Jailer for UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Rajinikanth sparked outrage during his visit when he was photographed stroking Adityanath’s feet. He later clarified, however, that he has a propensity of touching the feet of yogis and sanyasis.
When asked if he had any political chats with his “friend of nine years,” Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the renowned actor claimed that the two met exactly as longtime friends.
