MGM has finally released the much-anticipated trailer for its upcoming film ‘House of Gucci,’ in which the film’s stars Adam Driver and Lady Gaga shine as Mr. and Mrs. Gucci, after months of speculation. Before the trailer was published, a series of character posters were also produced.
Ridley Scott’s film details the assassination of Maurizio Gucci (Driver), the grandson of famed fashion designer Guccio Gucci, and the fall of the Gucci family fashion dynasty. Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio’s ex-wife, was tried and convicted of plotting his murder after he left her for a younger woman. Gaga portrays her. She was released in 2016 after serving 18 years in jail and earning the moniker “Black Widow.” Pina Auriemma, Reggiani’s clairvoyant companion, will be played by Salma Hayek.

The film’s trailer had all the flash and glamour you’d expect from an Italian fashion firm in the 1990s, including the couple’s grandiose wedding, affluent lifestyle, and something more sinister, a murder. The drama building up to the murder included Gucci fashion displays and wild evenings at the disco.
Gaga played Reggiani, Driver played Maurizio Gucci, Pacino played Aldo Gucci, Leto played Paolo Gucci, and Irons played Rodolfo Gucci in the character posters, which were released a few hours before the trailer’s release.
Roberto Bentivegna’s ‘House of Gucci’ is based on Sara Gay Forden’s novel ‘The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.’ Al Pacino, Jared Leto, and Jeremy Irons are also among the cast members. The picture was produced by MGM, Bron Creative, and Scott Free Productions.
