The movie then underperformed at the box office, resulting in more losses. Although the movie received a lot of praise from industry insiders, audiences could not seem to connect with it. Producer Ekta Kapoor has since sided with the Bollywood star and has been heard saying that boycotting a talent like Aamir Khan is not an option. Following the Laal Singh Chaddha disaster, Ekta Kapoor declares that “all the Khans in Bollywood, notably Aamir Khan, are legends.”

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and notably Aamir Khan are all legends in the industry. They cannot be boycotted. It is impossible to boycott Aamir Khan.
