The movie then underperformed at the box office, resulting in more losses. Although the movie received a lot of praise from industry insiders, audiences could not seem to connect with it. Producer Ekta Kapoor has since sided with the Bollywood star and has been heard saying that boycotting a talent like Aamir Khan is not an option. Following the Laal Singh Chaddha disaster, Ekta Kapoor declares that “all the Khans in Bollywood, notably Aamir Khan, are legends.”

Ekta Kapoor, a TV and Bollywood producer, was recently spotted discussing the topic of Laal Singh Chaddha boycotts. Aamir Khan is a soft ambassador who has done a lot of business in the past and cannot be banned from the industry, she adamantly argued. It is really odd that we are boycotting the same individuals who have given the industry the finest business, she was quoted as saying in Navbharat Times. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and notably Aamir Khan are all legends in the industry. They cannot be boycotted. It is impossible to boycott Aamir Khan.

Since the publication of its trailer, the Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor movie has encountered several problems, including a social media boycott movement and demonstrations. In Jalandhar, a fringe group protested against the movie’s premiere, and a theatre showing of it was interrupted midway through. A lawyer also complained about it in Delhi for giving the Indian Army a bad reputation. Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. It became available on August 11.
