Salman Khan’s latest movie ‘Radhe’ was screened on the occasion of Eid on the 13th of May, which has been a hit. Although Salman Khan is ready for his next blockbuster as the reports say that he has approved the remake of one of the hit Tamil movies ‘Master’ in Hindi.
The hit Tamil movie came onto the screens in the year 2021 as it had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 situation. The movie revolves around the story of an alcoholic professor who was sent to juvenile to teach the prisoners for three months.
A source recently added that “The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed venture was shown to Salman earlier this year before the junta curfew was imposed. It revolves around alcoholic professor JD, portrayed by Vijay, who takes up a teaching job at a juvenile home. Salman was excited about the movie and agreed to do it in principle. But things did not progress swiftly due to the lockdown. Now, the producers will meet him again to discuss the minor tweaks in the script, the possible dates for the shoot and the director. By the month-end, the Khandaan will head to Goa for a vacation. If all goes well, after returning from the holiday, he will announce his new releases. Meanwhile, the producers of the Master remake are scouting for an A-list star who can reprise Vijay Sethupathi’s role and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Salman.”
Although Salman’s movie Radhe has been a hit in terms of a good economic pull-off, the movie was less appealing to his fans due to the poor storyline. As the actor has signed up for upcoming projects like Antim – The Final Truth, Tiger 3, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Kick 2, it will be interesting to watch what impact will the remake of the movie Master will have on his audience.
