Adipurush, directing by Om Raut, will be a mythological movie based on Hindu epic Ramayana. Prabhas wil play the role of Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Lankesh. Also, Kriti Sanon will be seen playing the role of Sita. Moreover, evergreen Bollywood actress Hema Malini may play the role of maa (mother) Kaushalya.
Now finally, the shooting has begun as on Tuesday morning, acting star Prabhas took his Instagram handle to share a poster of the movie with a caption, “#Adipurush aarambh”.
Then film biz analyst Taran Adarsh also took his Instagram handle to share the news that Adipurush will a 3D format film. He shared same poster on Instagram with the caption, “PRABHAS: #ADIPURUSH BEGINS… #Prabhas and #Tanhaji director #OmRaut join hands, begin the journey of #Adipurush [3D]… Costars #SaifAliKhan… will release in multiple languages: #Hindi, #Telugu, #Tamil, #Malyalam and #Kannad. #Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair.”
However, the movie was already announced in September, when Kareena Kapoor Khan took his Instagram handle to share the first look of the film with a caption, “Presenting the most handsome devil in history… my man Saif Ali Khan ❤️❤️ #Adipurush #Lankesh #SaifAliKhan”.
The movie is expected to be released in the first half of August 2021.
