courtesy: peopleOn April 11, singer Park Bo Ram was declared dead after it confirmed by her agency. The police had stated that the cause of the death is currently under investigation and they have asked the National Forensic Service for an autopsy.
Now, there have been rumors and speculations making rounds on the internet regarding the death of the singer. Amidst all this, her agency XANADU Entertainment threatened legal action against malicious rumors and fake news surrounding the singer’s death.
They mentioned there have been malicious posts surrounding the late singer on internet. The agency said that since her debut, Park Bo Ram has been troubled by fake news and now even after her death, the false rumors would not stop. It further labelled those rumors as acts of defamation and considered it to be killing the deceased twice.
They continued and added that the company, relatives, and acquaintances are suffering great mental shock and pain due to this. The label requested all the posts to be taken down or they would be forced to take strong criminal and civil measures, after the funeral proceedings.
Park Bo Ram was popularly known for her 2014 track featuring Beautiful featuring Zico. It also won her the Artist of the Year at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards.
