Melon Music Awards 2023 (MMA) venue revealed: When and where to witness the grand event? Deets here

The Melon Music Awards (MMA) are a famous annual music awards event in South Korea that recognises excellence in the music industry, features top K-pop performers, and celebrates exceptional achievements.

The 15th Melon Music Awards (MMA) are getting ready for their yearly celebration. MMA is a major music awards programme in South Korea, with numerous categories.

This year, they have something interesting and novel in store for K-pop enthusiasts. For the first time in South Korea, they will also have a large performance hall capable of seating 15,000 people.

The Melon Music Awards organisers announced on October 19 that the event will take place on December 2 at the INSPIRE Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon. This concert is noted for having incredible performances by well-known artists. They also enjoy bringing rare partnerships amongst artists together and introducing fresh talents. The 15th MMA will feature South Korea’s first performance venue specifically tailored for K-pop acts.

Because there haven’t been many concerts in the country recently, they want to make sure the fans enjoy an entertaining night. This new arena has a capacity of 15,000 people, so it will be a tremendous event. The Melon Music Awards in 2023 will be a memorable evening for music lovers.

In addition, they are introducing a new award category named “The Millions Top 10.” This award is comparable to the Melon Top 10, however it is for albums that were published within the last year and received over a million streams on the first day. For this category, they will select 30 nominees.

This year’s MMA theme is “K-Pop Changes the World.” In early November, voting for the Melon Top 10 and the new award category will begin. The “Millions Top 10” award recognises albums that have had a significant impact on the K-pop music landscape since their release.

You can watch the award ceremony online. It will be streamed on platforms like Wavve, the Melon app, and Abema TV.
