JTBC’s Doctor Slump has shared new stills to share a glimpse of Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye’s struggles from the upcoming episode.
The series is a romantic comedy revolving around two former rivals who reunite and unexpectedly become each other’s light during the darkest period of their lives. Doctor Slump features Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye, playing the role Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul, respectively. While the former is a plastic surgeon, whose thriving career has witnessed a sudden fall due to a strange medical accident, the latter is a workaholic anesthesiologist suffering from burnout syndrome.
In the newly released stills from the show’s next episode, both doctor suffer the fallout of their breakup and for the first time, since their breakup, they are suffering on their own, instead of together.
First, Yeo Jung Woo returns to the operation theatre for the first time in a long time. Post struggling with PTSD due to his patient’s death and the trauma of being framed for it, he can be clearly seen battling with his nerves as he is back in the front of the operating table.
Meanwhile, Nam Ha Neul can be seen wide awake in the middle of the night, as she cannot sleep, which is possibly because she is missing Yeo Jung Woo post their split.
In the next set of photos, the actress appears to go on a blind date with a mystery man, in order to move on from her breakup. However, considering the frosty vibe of their date, it is evident that neither of them is interested in one another.
