BLACKPINK’s Jennie reacts to rumors of solo comeback since leaving YG Entertainment

BLACKPINK’s Jennie is yet to make a proper solo comeback since ending her individual contract with YG Entertainment in 2023. Although the singer has captivated her fandom with her recently collaboration on international scale, the fans are anticipating her solo comeback.

Now, a few media outlets have revealed that the SOLO singer will be dropping her new album in June this year. However, the reports were debunked as shortly after, the pop star’s agency OA issued a brief statement, saying, “Nothing has been confirmed yet.”

As the fans feel a little disappointed as they were eagerly waiting to see the singer top the charts again with another hit, attention has now shifted to the singer’s next response.

Meanwhile, Jennie made her debut as a soloist in 2018 with her chart topping track SOLO, which recently crossed 1  billions views on YouTube. Moreover, the Korean star has partnered up with several global stars, marking her presence in the international music scene.

In 2023, Jennie was featured in American pop singer The Weeknd’s track One of the Girls, as part of the HBO series, The Idol, where she also starred as an actress. In the same year, she dropped the English special single title You & Me.
