Bollywood sensation Jacqueline Fernandez made a stunning debut at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, capturing everyone’s attention with her dazzling presence. Representing India through her association with BMW, the actor’s first appearance on the red carpet was nothing short of spectacular.
Glossy First Outing
Jacqueline walked the red carpet for the first time on Monday, opting for a sophisticated and glamorous look. She wore a custom-made shimmery bronze gown by Mikael D Couture, showcasing her fit physique perfectly. The look was completed with exquisite Hassanzade Jewellery, enhancing her elegance. Jacqueline chose to keep her hairstyle simple, leaving her hair open, and ditched neckpieces in favor of statement earrings.

Before departing for the film gala, Jacqueline expressed her excitement about adding a touch of Bollywood flair to Cannes and highlighting the South East Asian diaspora. She shared her enthusiasm in a statement: “I am super excited to go to the Cannes Film Festival once again this year, this time in association with BMW and I cannot wait for it. It feels great to represent the South East Asian diaspora at a global level, and it’s an honor to walk the prestigious red carpet where many legends have already walked.”
This isn’t Jacqueline’s first time at Cannes. In 2015, she was invited by the Queen of Malaysia and even attended Naomi Campbell’s 45th birthday party on a private yacht.
Indian Representation at Cannes
This year, Cannes sees a strong Indian presence with several Bollywood stars gracing the event. In addition to Jacqueline, Kiara Advani and Sobhita Dhulipala joined Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the prestigious festival. Aditi Rao Hydari is also representing India at Cannes. Deepti Sadhwani made waves with her orange dress, while Urvashi Rautela shared pictures from France.
Aishwarya and Aditi are at Cannes on behalf of L’Oreal Paris. Kiara is representing India at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala dinner, and Sobhita is there on behalf of Magnum India.
