Gal Gadot, who plays the role of wonder women in the DC world, thanked her fans for making her latest DC movie Wonder Woman 1984 the most-watched movie on any streaming service this Christmas. The film beat Pixar’s soul on Disney+ to achieve this feat.
Viewers watched 2.25 billion minutes of Wonder Woman 1984 as compared to Soul’s 1.67 billion. Warner Bros released the movie in theatres and on HBO Max the same day. Wonder Woman 1984, which released in India on December 24, has Gadot’s DC superhero facing Kristen Wigg’s Cheetah and Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord. Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor also made a comeback and Patty Jenkins returned to direct.
Gadot shared two screenshots of a news report regarding the same and captioned it, “This is amazing!🖤 Thank you all #WW84 @WonderWomanFilm @hbomax.”

Warner Bros has already greenlit a third Wonder Woman movie. It will bring back director Patty Jenkins and Gadot.
