Kathy Hilton may have a back-and-forth relationship with her sister Kyle Richards, but she also seems to have quite a rollercoaster ride of friendship with Sutton Stracke during her time of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The speculations of rift began in season 13 reunion when Sutton became ill and had to leave to go the hospital, which had led the fans to believe that she did so to avoid confrontation with Kathy. Moreover, Kathy, on camera, did not seem concerned about Sutton’s health and was heard saying to Erika Jayne, “I was about to [go after her]. I think she knew it. It’s a good way to get out of being here.”
Now, Kathy and Sutton are clearing up the air. More importantly, Kathy admitted that she was the one who was afraid of the other person, but that was way back in season 11. Sutton joined the reality series as a friend in season 10 and later in season 11, she joined as a main housewife.
During an Instagram Live Kathy clarified, “So that y’all don’t get confused. I love Kathy, and I was afraid of her at the reunion. I just want to make sure that we are clear on that.
She also shared that back in season 11, she was afraid of Sutton because of a joke she used to make. “I’m gonna come and get ya,” is what Sutton would say but ended up being the reason for Kathy to be afraid of her.
