There are various motives behind a person’s action and sentiments to those in the business of fighting crime. Set in the early 2010s, one of the best minds of California Bureau of Investigations is back to making crime solving a lot easier. Created by Bruno Heller, and a key member of CBS’ formidable Thursday lineup, alongside Survivor and CSI at the time of its launch which turned out to be massive success.
The Mentalist ran for seven seasons, from 2008 to 2015. Nearly a decade after airing its final episode, the series is set to stream on Hulu from March 25.
Led by Simon Baker, the series follow Baker’s Patrick Jane, CBI consultant, who maintains a stunning record of solving cases using his impressive observation skills and mentalist abilities. Despite being ridiculously good at his job, he also has a reputation of going against the protocol.
For majority of the run, the series’ storyline revolved around Jane’s desire of getting his hands onto this man, who had apparently wrecked his life, Red John aka the Napa county Sheriff Thomas McAllister, played by Xander Berkeley.
