Suits LA: Stephen Amell headed to Vancouver for shoot of Suits spinoff series’ pilot episode

Even though Suits went off air years back, the show still enjoys a massive fan base which has been increasing with each passing day. Ever since Suits spinoff series – Suits L.A. – has been announced, the fans are eager to get their hands on any piece information available on it. Today, we are one step closer as lead actor Stephen Amell revealed that he is on his way to Vancouver to begin production of the spinoff series. The casting of Arrow alum was announced last month, so it is safe to assume that things have been progressing at quite a nice pace.

Stephen took to his Instagram handle and shared a note in his post, which read, “Heading to Vancouver to shoot a pilot. Almost 12 years to day since we shot the Arrow pilot.”


Which other cast members have been announced for Suits LA?

Apart from Stephen, who will be playing the character Ted, the creator has revealed Lex Scott Davis from The First Purge will be playing the female lead, Erica Rollins, and Bryan Greenberg from One Tree Hill as Ted’s mentee, Rick Dodsen.

What plot to expect from Suits LA?

The official synopsis of the spinoff series read, “Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.
