Rick Cosnett is joining the upcoming seventh season of 9-1-1 in a key recurring role. Post its cancellation on Fox, in the first season on ABC is set on a cruise ship with harrowing experience ahead.
A recently released teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of what’s ahead. Having boarded a cruise ship during the season 6 finale for a secret honeymoon vacation, Athena, played by Angela Bassett, and Bobby, played by Peter Krause, finds themselves at the centre of the action when terrorist take over their ship.
Rick guest stars in a key arc as charismatic cruise director Julian Enes.
As per the description of the premier episode, “Athena and Bobby set off on their honeymoon cruise, but when duty calls, their vacation is put on hold; a fighter jet traps a civilian; an unusual incident leaves a couple stuck together.”
The show will also feature Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, Kenneth Choi as Howie ‘Chimney’ Han, Oliver Stark as Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta ‘Hen’ Wilson, Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz, and Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz.
