
With the arrival of Jack Bannon, Chelsea Muirhead, Daniela Nieves, Jessie T. Usher, and Jessy Yates along with the previously announced star cast of Justina Machado, Willa Fitzgerald, and Colin Woodell, the casting for Pulse, which is the first original medical procedural on Netflix, has completed.
Machado was the series regular announced, as he will be playing the role of Natalie Cruz, a brilliant and politically savvy doctor, who deserves both medical and administration in her role as the Chair of Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Woodell plays Xander Phillips, who is the chief resident of Emergency Medicine and comes from one of the most powerful medical families in Miami. Fitzgerald plays Dani Simms.
Bannon has been roped in to play the charming and witty Tom Cole, who has arrived to Miami for brilliant trauma program and the lifestyle. Usher plays the role of 3rd Year Emergency Medicine Resident, Sam Elijah. Muirhead plays Sophie Chan, who is a smart and competitive surgical intern. Nieves will be playing Camila Perez, who is a third year medical student. Yates will play Harper, second year Emergency Medicine Resident who is self assured and introspective. She uses a wheelchair and is younger sister to Danny.
