Pretty Little Liars: Summer School finally reveals its new villain for season 2

The villain for Pretty Little Liars: Summer School has been revealed ahead of the anticipate release of season 2 on Max in spring 2024. The show’s first season titled Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin wrapped up in 2022 and bagged renewal the same year. Post some delays in filming due to SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, we have finally got our hands on what lies ahead via Cosmopolitan.

While Archie Waters, played by Travis Patton, the antagonist of season one is gone, the show has a new villain, who might be related to Archie. As per the show’s creator Lindsay Calhoon, this new villain is determined to test every one of the girls. Without revealing much, she spilled the beans on the villain saying, “female figure of horror” who feels “apocalyptic and terrifying.”

The first look images feature the new villain in the same costume as Archie. The show’s co-creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said that they wished for the new villain to be scarier than that of season one – Archie. Allegedly, the new antagonist will go by the moniker ‘Bloody Rose’ hinting that she might be Rose Waters, Archie’s mother.
