In what feels like a longest Droughlander of them all, Starz revealed that season 7 part 2 of Outlander will premiere in November.
The season 7 is extra long with 16 episodes, split in two parts. The release of part 2 delayed due to the writers’ and actors’ strike in Hollywood. To brush up the recap of season 7 or earlier, all the seasons of the series is currently available for streaming on Starz app.
The series, inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s international bestseller, Outlander follows a married former WWII nurse, Claire, played by Caitriona Balfe, who finds herself been transported from 1946 to 1743 in Scotland. Claire finds that her true love has been living in the past, dashing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan. With each new season, their love story expands with Claire taking frequent trips into the future and new characters are introduced in their romantic tale.
Earlier in January, it was announced that the series has been renewed for eight season, which will consist of 10 episodes. Moreover, a 10 episode spinoff prequel series Outlander: Blood Of My Blood received greenlight.
