Orphan Black: Echoes secures release date for summer at AMC

AMC Networks has set a summer premiere date for Krysten Ritter led Orphan Black: Echoes, an original series set in the universe of Orphan Black. The spinoff will premiere of June 23 on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America.

Created by Anna Fishko, set in the near future, Orphan Black: Echoes takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. The show focuses on a group of women weaving their way into each other’s live and went on a thrilling mission, wherein they end up unravelling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.


Krysten plays the role of a woman named Lucy, who has unimaginable origin story, trying to find her place in the world.

Apart from her, the series also star Keeley Hawes, Avan Jogia, Amanda Fix, Rya Kihlstedt, and James Hiroyuki Liao.

Anna is also credited as writer, showrunner, and executive producer with original series co-creator John Fawcett, who will also be directing the show.
