Nicki Minaj, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s single ‘Trollz’ extend helping hand to protesters supporting ‘Black Lives Matter’

America is in a turmoil with protesters flocking the streets in support of Black Lives Matter Movement and condemning the white officer who mercilessly murdered an African American citizen George Floyd. Since the heinous crime took place on the streets of Minneapolis, many Hollywood celebrities voiced their rage at their respective social media handles and also took physical participation in the movement.

Taking a step ahead in this row, multi-talented Nicki Minaj and American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine have come together for a new single titled, “Trollz”.

This song is launched with a motive and hence, is no ordinary song. Both the singers have vowed to donate a portion of funding from the song to Black Lives Matter organisation. They will also extend the helping hand to those low-income people who cannot afford bail which is led by protests.

Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram to share a picture, announcing the arrival of the song. In the shared photo, Nicki is looking hot in a fur bikini while donning rainbow coloured hair and in the same frame, Tekashi is seen in deadlocks and white winter jacket with a sassy look.

Sharing the picture on her Instagram profile, she backed the photo with, “A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc. [@bailproject]. The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. Apart from Nicki, many celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, David Schwimmer physically took part in the protests and also voiced their concern and rage on their social media handles.

American Rapper Tekashi recently made headlines when he was accused of copying the idea of colored background for his music video from Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill’s Veham by Tik-Tok user.
