New Amsterdam spinoff series in making at NBC; Check out its title

The fans of New Amsterdam, who wanted to see more of the show after it ended with season 5, might have something to look forward to.

Series creator, executive producer and showrunner David Schulner is developing a spinoff series at NBC, the plot of which will be set 30 years from the original series’ events. The spinoff series has been tentatively titled ‘New Amsterdam: Tomorrow’, and it follows Dr. Max Goodwin’s, played by Ryan Eggold, daughter Luna Goodwin, who follows the footsteps of her father as a Medical Director of New Amsterdam Hospital.


The potential sequence is expected to explore the ways artificial intelligence would help advance the medical industry in the future, was set up in the New Amsterdam series finale. The series has young and enthusiastic new medical director, played by Molly Griggs, at the beginning of the episode, who is later revealed to be Max’s daughter.
