Miley Cyrus opens up about the “really scary” incident when her plane was struck by lightning

In a recent interview with Seth Meyers, on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Miley Cyrus shared details of the moment when her plane was struck by a lightning.

Miley Cyrus is speaking up about her “scary” experience in March when her plane was struck by lightning when she was flying to a music festival in Paraguay with her band. Miley revealed details of the night with Seth Meyers on her most recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, saying, “It was really scary.”

During the interview, the singer went on to say that she was on her mother’s lap since the sky was falling down on them. “it didn’t matter about the seatbelts at this point. It was really very strange,” as she commented on how eerie the day was, “because it was unexpected weather, and a few things that day—when I woke up that morning I said, ‘Something just kind of felt off and not quite right.”

Despite the fact that Cyrus’ flight arrived safely, her event was canceled due to bad weather. Cyrus continued, “There was just a lot going on. And everyone’s like—my guys in my band, who are just rock ‘n’ rollers, are like, ‘We got to get to the fans! We got to still play the gig!’ I’m like, ‘OK, no. We’re in the middle of, like, the forest in a broken-down airplane. There’s floods where we’re supposed to be going. The stage is sinking.'”

Meanwhile, Cyrus and her band arrived at Lollapalooza Brazil, their next scheduled stop, with some spare time. Cyrus stated that she and her band needed to “take a few days to recuperate because all of us were a little traumatized.”
