Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spoke out about important things about the toxicity certain tabloids bring about. In an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin at The New York Times DealBook summit, Meghan Markle, the former actress, shared her views about women receiving their equality in the workplace and also spoke certain things to say about tabloids.
Markle informed Sorkin not to read tabloids after Sorin tells her that he had read “all sorts of crazy things” about being a boss online. She feels it’s “not healthy” for anyone of any age group.” One day, hopefully, the tabloids will come with a warning label, just like cigarettes do”.She further says, ‘This is toxic for your mental health”, via ET Canada.
She made sure to share that her motto was to stand up for herself and for something she felt right.”At some point, no matter how difficult it is, you know the difference between right and wrong. You must stand up for what’s right, and that’s what I’m doing,” Meghan added.
The Duchess of Sussex, when asked about a UK tabloid’s appeal against privacy ruling on Meghan’s letter for father Thomas Markle, she called it an ‘arduous process’.She said, “In terms of this appeal I won the case and this, frankly, has been going on when I had no children at all, I now have two children as you know”
On the other hand, Prince Harry called out the tabloids that used the word “Megxit”, and slammed all of them for cunningly turning “fact-based news into opinion-based gossip”.
