Martin Scorsese to make docu-series on religion for Fox Nation

Martin Scorsese is geared up to make and host a show on Fox Nation, a streaming service for Fox New Channel.

The project is an eight part docu- drama series, which has scheduled to release in November 2024. It has been titled ‘Martin Scorsese Present: The Saints.”

Each hour long episode will explore “the remarkable stories of eight men and women who risked everything to embody humanity’s most noble and complex trait – faith,” read the synopsis by Fox Nation.

The series was developed by renowned filmmaker for Lionsgate Alternative Television. It was created by Matti Leshem. The docuseries is written by the frequent Scorsese collaborator Kent Jones, and will be helmed by Elizabeth Chomko.

It will be executive produce by Scorses and Leshem, and so do Julie Yorn, Christopher Donnelly, Rick Yorn, Yoshi Stone, Craig Piligan, David Ellendar, and Matt Loze. Meanwhile, in addition to Lionsgate, the series is being backed by Sikelia Productions, Weimaraner Republic Pictures, LBI Entertainment, and Halcyon Studios.
