Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox didn’t ‘call off’ their engagement but, she did ‘take her ring off’

They have had problems in the past, but this time things feel really serious, reports.

The engagement of Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly hasn’t been formally called off. The couple “had a quarrel over the weekend,” according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, and the actress, 36, is “extremely unhappy” and “won’t speak to” her actor-musician fiancé, 32.

“They haven’t officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off,” the insider adds. “They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time.”

After publishing a post on the social media site that suggested she and Kelly would split up, Fox deleted her Instagram account on Sunday afternoon.

The Jennifer’s Body actress posted a video of an envelope being burned in a fire pit along with several pictures of herself. She wrote, “You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath,” as the caption, using lines from Beyoncé’s 2016 album Lemonade.

Before Fox disappeared from the internet, a fan speculated that Kelly had been disloyal, saying, “He probably got with Sophie,” in the comments area of Fox’s last post. Fox responded with a fire emoji and the quip, “Maybe I got with Sophie,” before suggesting that it might have been her.

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Fox skipped the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl Party on Saturday night where Kelly performed. The two did, however, go to Drake’s party together on Friday.

Along with deleting all of her and Kelly’s images and videos from her Instagram page, the Till Death actress also deleted a post about their engagement in January 2022. (Kelly, in contrast, continues to have posts on his profile that mention Fox.)

Before Kelly deleted her account, Fox followed Eminem, who has been at odds with her in the public eye for years.
