While speaking on the Therapuss podcast on March 27, Rinna revealed that despite frequently dining at the same Beverly Hills sushi restaurant, neither she nor Vanderpump acknowledges the other’s presence.
According to Rinna, the two reality stars maintain an unspoken agreement to act as if the other does not exist, describing the situation as amusing since both are aware of each other’s presence. The tension between them dates back to RHOBH’s ninth season in 2019, which was dominated by the controversial Puppygate scandal. Vanderpump, accused of orchestrating drama for the cameras, ultimately left the show following a heated confrontation with Kyle Richards.
While Rinna and Vanderpump continue to keep their distance, the latter has also had lingering friction with Richards. In a November 2023 interview, Vanderpump acknowledged her lack of a strong relationship with her former co-star but expressed sympathy for Richards amid her separation from Mauricio Umansky. However, months later, Vanderpump made cryptic remarks about reality stars portraying perfect marriages before suddenly announcing divorces, comments widely interpreted as a dig at Richards.
Richards later dismissed Vanderpump’s statements, accusing her of making misleading insinuations just to be cruel. She claimed Vanderpump’s behavior had remained unchanged over the years, further fueling speculation that their relationship is beyond repair.
As the drama continues to unfold outside the Bravo cameras, it appears that neither Rinna nor Vanderpump is interested in mending old wounds.
