Kelsey Grammer’s ‘Frasier’ secures season 2 at Paramount+

The revival of Frasier is getting a second season.

Paramount+ has renewed the sitcom – which stars Kelsey Grammer picking up his curmudgeonly character first introduced in NBC’s Cheers -for its second installment.


Jeff Grossman, executive vp programming at Paramount+ said, “Kelsey made a triumphant return as one of the most iconic and beloved characters on television.” He added the new series the character to a whole new generation of audience and also reminded the fans of Kelsey of what a truly timeless portrayal of Dr. Crane.

“Frasier is a love story, and I am very happy we will be allowed to continue it,” added Grammer.

The series, which also stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Nicholas Lundhurst, Jess Salgueiro, Anders Keith, and Toks Olagundoye, follows Crane in a new chapter of his life after he has moved to Boston and forged a new relationship with hope, to finally fulfill a dream or two.
