Kameron Saunders trades Eras Tour spotlight for a scene-stealing TV debut

Saunders’ role, though brief, promises to be memorable. In an exclusive preview, he can be seen announcing the court case with flair, met by a comically exaggerated “SayWhaaaa” from the gallery.

Kameron Saunders, the dynamic dancer who captivated audiences on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, is stepping into the world of television with a guest role on CBS’s Poppa’s House. The Missouri native, known for his vibrant stage presence and multilingual interjections during Swift’s performances, will appear as a spirited bailiff in the upcoming episode airing Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Saunders’ role, though brief, promises to be memorable. In an exclusive preview, he can be seen announcing the court case with flair, met by a comically exaggerated “SayWhaaaa” from the gallery. His animated delivery and playful gestures, including a twirl and a tongue-pop, set the stage for a courtroom clash between Damon Wayans’ character, a seasoned talk radio host, and his son, played by Damon Wayans Jr. Vivica A. Fox presides over the case as Judge SayWha, with Saunders adding a lighthearted warning, “Don’t make me come dance over there,” as tensions rise.

While Eras Tour cemented Saunders as a standout performer, his entertainment career extends far beyond the stadium stage. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s dance program, he has toured with Lizzo and Saucy Santana and appeared in major productions like Spirited and The Color Purple.

With his television debut, Saunders proves that his talent transcends the concert stage, marking yet another milestone in his rapidly evolving career. Fans can catch his performance on CBS and streaming via Paramount+.
