The Imagine Entertainment package After The Hunt from screenwriter Nora Garrett has landed at Amazon MGM Studios with Julia Roberts attached to star and Luca Guadagnino on board to direct, as per the reports by Deadline.
The outlet futher added that the project has been penned by Nora, and will be produced by Brian and Allan for Imagine Entertainment, with Call Me By Your Name Oscar nominee Luca producing for his Frenesy banner. Nora will also executive producer along with Karen Lunder of Imagine.
The plot of the film will be an intense thriller about a college professor, played by Julia, who finds herself at crossroads with her personal and professional beliefs, when a star student has accused a former professor and colleague and a dark secret from her own life from the past threatens to come to light.
The script was brought forward by Allan Mandelbaum to Imagine Entertainment and worked it out with CAA to bring top talents like Julia and Luca on board.
