On March 11, Jenna Ortega will host Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the first time. The 1975 will play as her musical accompaniment. The new teaser makes it appear as though the 20-year-old actress wasn’t too delighted about performing her show Wednesday’s viral dance, despite the fact that she might be looking forward to this unique adventure.

In the trailer, Jenna can be seen assuming the role of Wednesday Addams from her wildly successful Netflix series Wednesday. As comedy group Please Don’t Destroy members Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy approach her and ask her to perform the Wednesday dance once more, she is wearing an attire modelled after the show’s title character.
After reading the script, Wednesday (Jenna) acknowledges its value and remarks on how well-written it is. She adds, nonetheless, that she decides against participating in the Wednesday dance because it has already been widely publicised. She then proposes that they try a new activity.
Ortega points to the group’s attire even though they claim they do not wish to do the popular dance either. Unaware of her role, one of them inquires whether it is from her television show. Then someone else makes the joke that it’s more like “Thursday Jones” than “Wednesday Addams”.
When Jenna Ortega hears this, she unwillingly joins the group to perform her well-known dance routine. Take a look at the promo below:

Jenna Ortega herself created the social media sensational dance that went viral from the netflix original series ‘Wednesday’. The song Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps from 1981 is used as the background music in the fourth episode of the first season. Once TikTok users posted videos of the dance to Lady Gaga’s song Bloody Mary, it gained even more popularity.
