Holly Madison has confirmed that her relationship with Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans has officially ended, marking the final chapter in their tumultuous five-and-a-half-year romance.
Speaking on her Girls Next Level podcast alongside cohost Bridget Marquardt, the former Playboy model shared that their breakup occurred shortly after the passing of her close friend, Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, earlier this month. Madison acknowledged their history of splitting and reconciling but stated that this time, the separation was permanent.
Reflecting on their relationship, she admitted that the couple had experienced frequent ups and downs, particularly in the past year. Madison noted that, for the first time, both she and Bagans had unfollowed each other on social media—something they had never done during previous breakups.
The pair initially began dating in June 2019, months after Madison finalized her divorce from Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Electric Daisy Carnival. Madison and Rotella, who share two children, had ended their marriage earlier that year.
Before her relationship with Bagans, Madison was widely known for her time with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, a chapter of her life that played out on E!’s The Girls Next Door. In her 2015 memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole, she detailed the challenges of life inside the mansion, describing a world of strict rules and unexpected pressures.
While Madison and Bagans had previously reunited after breakups, her latest remarks suggest that this time, there will be no turning back.
