Grey’s Anatomy star Alex Landi has come onboard for the upcoming romantic dramedy Mr. Plankton for Netflix.
The series is about a man who should not have been born. He and the unhappiest woman in the world are forced to accompany one another on the final journey of his life. The drama has been penned by writer Jo Yong, who is known for It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, and is helmed by Hong Jong-chan, known for directing Dear My Friends, Juvenile Justice.
The details around Alex’s role are being kept under wraps but he is confirmed to be a series regular. This will mark his debut in Korean series.
Apart from him, the rest of the includes Woo Do-hwan as Hae-jo, a bastard man thrown into a wandering life with family, Lee You-mi as Jae-mi, Hae-jo’s ex and the world’s unhappiest bride to be. Oh Jung-se will be playing the role of Jae-mi’s groom-to-be Eo-heung, and Kim Hae-sook as Beom Ho-ja, as Eo-hueng’s mother.
