We all are going through one of the most difficult phases of our life. The rise of COVID-19 which was initially ignored has now completely changed our life. Though the origin of this virus is yet now cleared, investigations are underway by all the international organizations. Now that people cannot gather in mass for hosting any events, people are using online platforms as a substitution for hosting major events. One such recent one was Golden Globes 2021.

On last Sunday, 28th February 2021, Golden Globes hosted a live event through ZOOM video calling software. Many popular celebrities were present along with some fans as critics. Though soon this prestigious virtual award show was turned into a chaos as random mics were turned on, which disturbed the flow of speakers.

Therefore this award show was trending on Twitter and the award show turned into a meme fest. Many netizens had some hilarious comments passed on by taking the Golden Globes. One user said, “This chaotic energy works so well for the #goldenglobes but I will simply not be okay if the Oscars are on zoom.”
