The activity at the Scream front is now heating up as Courteney Cox is in talks to reprise her role of journalist Gale Weathers, which she held since the first installment, as per the reports by Deadline, citing sources.
However, the franchise right holder and producer Spyglass has not given any confirmation on the update. The news comes following word that original cast member Neve Campbell will be back as final girl Sidney Prescott in the new and currently untitled film, after previously exiting Scream VI due to a pay dispute.
Neve broke the news of her return to the movie franchise by announcing it on her Instagram, “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!”
