Christina Hendricks gets engaged to George Bianchini after a year and half of dating

Christina Hendricks, a former cast member of “Mad Men,” has announced her engagement to George Bianchini on Instagram as of Mar 10.

The Good Girls and Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks, 47, seems to be planning another wedding! After dating for about a year and a half, the red-haired beauty and her fiancé, George Bianchini, announced their engagement on Instagram on Friday.  “We proposed to each other and we said yes!!! I will love and care for him forever. @steadig,” she captioned the sweet photo of them cozying up to each other.

Many of Christina’s 1.2 million followers immediately left numerous supportive comments in the post’s comments area when she shared it with them.   Former 2 Broke Girls actor Kat Dennings said,“Christina!!! I love you, so happy for you both,”   Another Mad Men alum joined in to wish Christina the best of luck. “Congratulations!!! So happy for you both!” exclaimed Alison Brie. Even one of her followers made light of the fact that their husband would be shocked to learn the news. “My husband is going to be so sad. He thought he had a real chance. Hahah,” they joked.

In a separate comment, one admirer quipped that they wished they could be a part of the official wedding party. “Christina, im so happy for you !!!! Congratulations to you both !!! I consider myself as a bridesmaid from far lol !! I can’t wait to see your dress!! To a forever love for you both,” they wrote. Prior to their official engagement announcement, Christina seemingly sported a diamond ring on that finger in some Instagram photos on Feb. 26.

According to PEOPLE, George, a camera operator, and his future wife were first connected in November 2021 after meeting at a Christian Siriano exhibition. According to The Daily Mail, the two allegedly met while working on Christina’s now-cancelled television show, Good Girls, which ran from 2018 to 2021. George has most recently served as the camera operator for the Netflix sensation Inventing Anna, which debuted in February 2022. In 2022, he contributed to the Chloe Grace Moretz-starring movie The Peripheral.
